Topic .A: The creation and support of a protective environment: the suppression of child labor in communities, schools and institutions and harmful practices such as child marriage.

Good morning chair, members of the International community. On behalf of our president Shimon Perez, we send our greetings to all. We hope to have all the cooperation of the nations present to fulfill our proposals to this regional conflict. As we all know, Israel has been involved in a big conflict with Gaza. This has led to the destruction of many homes and school where children felt safe. With this problem many children have lost one or both parents leaving them alone in this place. This has caused for child marriage to become a more popular practice within the relatives of these children. These marriages are mainly to receive money like “selling a child”. This conflict has also caused that many children need to work in order to survive, and many adults are exploiting this situation in order to pay less.

For these issues and with the intention of giving children a better place to live with better conditions, we the delegation of Israel proposes:
    1. That all the children that have lost their parents or family, they may get the chance of being adopted or fostered by a family with ideals and moral principles as they would have had if their parents hadn’t died.

    2. Creating institutions that give support for these children that have been affected by this conflict in order for them to receive therapy and counseling when they have already been married.

    3. Creating a government – private institution that regulates health, education and security issues regarding children that have suffered abuse and are currently living in desperate conditions.

My delegation proposes that we have to put policeman to safe the girls when the girls get out to the school, because this discrimination is getting out of control, and came to its limits.
My delegation proposes that we have to make a special school to teach the girls that where victim of violence and sexual abuse, to the girls that see how defend yours selves, and girls to have a several problem in the brain because of the discrimination.
My delegation proposes that we have to separate boy and girls in different schools because of the problem of discrimination.

  9. Miss Julia and Adrian, congratulations on your research and term paper,it is important to express what you feel about girls discrimination.
Just imagine that girls are considered differently. We are fortunate to live in a country where girls have the same education opportunities, but there is not the same in some places, as you have seen.
What do you think about it? Take the place of those girls and try to think some possibilities for them.

    Really like this topic!

Good morning chair, members of the International community. On behalf of our president Shimon Perez, we send our greetings to all. We hope to have all the cooperation of the nations present to fulfill our proposals to this regional conflict. In Israel the Ministry of Education stated in a recent report that the educational system inequities between the girls and the boys is a phenomenon originated by violence.
One important problem is that girls have to get married when they are 13 years old, and their parents choose their husband and even ask for money.
Also, prevails discrimination against Bedouin girls because they do not belong to their same religious beliefs.
Discrimination towards girls is very frequent in Israel due to the inequality of rights they have.
    My delegation proposes:
    - that we have to stop discrimination against girls. It is important to prepare the girls in a good and integrated environment.
    - to give education, special attention, creating a mayor concern based on the universal values.
    - That the scholar education is based in the integration of the family and society to eliminate the physical and sexual violence.
    - Revise textbooks in the Arab education system in order to eradicate gender stereotypes.
