Good morning Chair, members of the international community. On behalf of our president Mr. Christian Wulff, we send our greetings to all. We hope to have all the cooperation of the nations present to fulfill our proposals to this regional conflict. As we all know, In Germany the problem is that children from 5 to 14 years old work for other people about 28 hours each day. Other problem is that girls are discriminated by other people and the same happens with boys. Other issue is that the people that take the children to work separate them from their families and if they do not finish the work that they have to do they can´t see their families and if they don’t finish it, they spend the night alone working. Other problem is that children under the age of 5 have the sickness of aids because in Germany parents force their children to have relationship with other people, also the women have the problem of the aids like the children. There are organizations that are trying to control this situation of aids (MICS, USAID). UNICEF has presence in more than 155 countries that are teaching the children that if the parents force them, they have to talk with an authority about what their parents want them to do. Other issue in Germany is that men and boys have to participate in war because they also have the problem of relationships with other people. Other situation is that the girls and boys are raped by the people that separate from their families and another problem is that some people steal some children.

For these reasons and with the sole purpose of eradicating these situations for children to be safer and free of excessive labor in our country, the German delegation proposes the following:

    • That schools have a better security program so that children could go safely to school without any risk of harm or danger.
    • That the government increases the reach and range of the public health system in order to give children every opportunity to have a healthy childhood.
    • The justice department increases the control over drug distribution and abuse and eradicates the selling of drugs among children

  3. Fabiola and Miss Claudia,

I am glad you have been working, a joint project is very important and sharing information could be very helpful.

I have some comments over the first topic.

    1. How can a children work 28 hours? The day only has 24 hours and no human being can live without having a rest.

    2. Could you mention some types of discrimination children suffer?

    3. How could children be separated from their families to be exploted. What is their parents role, anything is being done by them, or parents accept it?

    4. I don't understand what you are trying to say on this ". Other issue in Germany is that men and boys have to participate in war because they also have the problem of relationships with other people. "

    Among your solutions:

    1. You mention more security in schools. Give some ideas.

    2. You are mentioning more control over drug distribution and abuse, but you didn't mention this as a problem.

Continue with your good work and I am sure your participation in the Taemun with be very valuable.

    Miss Martha

  5. TOPIC A

Topic A: The creation and support of a protective environment: the suppression of child labor in communities, schools and institutions and harmful practices such as child marriage.
Good morning Chair, members of the international community. On behalf of our president Mr. Christian Wulff, we send our greetings to all. We hope to have all the cooperation of the nations present to fulfill our proposals to this regional conflict. As we all know, In Germany the problem is that children from 5 to 14 years old work for other people about 18 hours each day. Other issue is that the people that take the children to work separate them from their families and if they do not finish the work that they have to do they can´t see their families and if they don’t finish it, they spend the night alone working. UNICEF has presence in more than 155 countries that are teaching the children that if the parents force them, they have to talk with an authority about what their parents want them to do.
The child poverty rate has been increasing in recent years in several European countries. In several EU states, it is above the poverty rate for the corresponding population as a whole. Poverty and social exclusion for their parents affects children’s cognitive development and education. Poverty is also a threat to the psychosocial well-being of girls and boys. Europe will therefore have to continue to fight child poverty. Studies in Germany indicate that boys are affected by violence more frequently than girls. This is true to a great extent in relation to violence in schools, violence from same-age children, and to a lesser extent for forms of corporal punishment by parents. In Germany, girls are affected by severe forms of violence and by sexual violence slightly more frequently than boys. 16% of girls report having had such experiences before the age of 16.

For these reasons and with the sole purpose of eradicating these situations for children to be safer and free of excessive labor in our country, the German delegation proposes the following:

    • Those schools have a better security program so that children could go safely to school without any risk of harm or danger, and to increase the level of education in those places where girls do not reach a proper level to have a better opportunity of employment.
    • That the government increases the reach and range of the public health system in order to give children every opportunity to have a healthy childhood.
    • That the government of Germany deals with the poverty issue of the immigrant families and specially promote programs so that girls have a better way of life while their parents are at work.

  6. TOPIC B

Topic B: Strategies to prevent discrimination against girls and prevent such discrimination to become a threat to their life and well being

Good morning Chair, members of the international community. On behalf of our president Mr. Christian Wulff, we send our greetings to all. We hope to have all the cooperation of the nations present to fulfill our proposals to this regional conflict. As we all know, in Germany the problem in this case is that some girls in Germany have the problem of t not going to school so they wave to work selling in the street. Another problem is that their parents sometimes they have to migrate to another country but they let their daughters alone in their country that they live before. In Germany the girls are discriminate by having sex from other people or their own family. There are also 2 companies that are doing like alliance to stop this problem in Germany (EERC , EUMAP and CEDAW) this names are the companies that are doing the possible to stop this problem in Germany. Another problem that Germany wants to stop is that the Sinti and the Roman women are also discriminated because they are migrants and because they are women. Another problem is that 50% of the girls and women that are of Sinti and Rome live in Germany but they are repentant because they change to a place that is not safe because of the discrimination that you can find in every street that you walk in Germany but the country of Sinti made a project that include healthy life, protection, they also have rights to opinion in the public and political life(women and girls that want to change to another country for the rest of their lives) but this have a conflict because the government of Germany do not want to do laws for protect the women and girls that are migrants from other country.
According to U.N. data, girls and women with handicaps are affected by sexual violence twice as often. Measures are needed that will allow handicapped children to take part in normal lessons and leisure activities. They also need high-quality services and financial grants to allow them to receive education and training appropriate to their strengths and abilities. Immigrants are not taken into account at all in many surveys, and surveys often lack any differentiation with regard to sex or country of origin. To make it possible to develop targeted supportive measures, it is urgently necessary to obtain better data on the life situation, lifestyle, and life planning of girls who are subject to multiple forms of discrimination. It would also be helpful for the European states to compare their national programs of support for girls with multiple forms of discrimination and to examine which measures are capable of being transferred from one country to another.

1-The Delegation of Germany proposes that we have to convince to the government to protect the women and girls that are immigrants.
2-That the schools check that is all in order with the girls and their families, and if not, they’ll appoint a specialist to help the families and the girls who have suffered any type of discrimination.
3-That the government of Germany invent a new law for if parents who let their daughters alone put a penalty for the parents that commit this type of injustice.
